Turku Science Park Ltd. is a non-profit development company for the entire Turku subregion that works in close cooperation with local, national and international actors in the fields of business and economic development. The municipalities of the Turku region purchase services from our company through their own Turku Region Development Ltd.

Turku Science Park Ltd. is a regional development company in charge of producing and coordinating the region's business and innovation services. It is in the middle of a triple helix pattern where universities generate new knowledge, business exploits it and the public sector acts as a facilitator.

Our mission is to produce and facilitate the best possible services to support the founding of companies, as well as their growth, development and internationalisation. We work hard every day to make our region the best place to do business so that new talents, investments and companies can easily find their way here.

We also want to be a sustainable player both as an employer and service provider. If you detect any unethical aspects or abuse in our operations, you can report on them anonymously through our whistleblowing channel.

Turnover of Turku Science Park Ltd. in 2019: 55 % funding from the City of Turku, 16 % funding from municipalities of Turku region, 13 % project funding from EU, 8 % project funding from the Council of Southwest Finland, 5 % other public funding and 2 % sales. The company’s biggest owner is the City of Turku, 87 %. Other shareholders have 13 %.
