Funding: The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment / Development projects promoting the recovery of tourism. Total budget € 217,150, of which project funding covers 80% (€ 173,720).
Project in a nutshell: The aim of the project is to promote the viability and competitiveness of tourism in Southwest Finland by making the province an information-driven sustainable tourism area and one of the top destinations for digital affordability in Finland. In the measures, we promote 1) sustainable tourism, e.g. extensive implementation of Visit Finland’s Sustainable Travel Finland program through company-specific consultations and program coaching, 2) strengthening the tourism ecosystem and building knowledge management, and 3) digital purchasing of sustainable products for tourism companies through online channels and Visit Finland’s data hub.
