Turku Festival and Event Management Masterclass

We are delighted to let you know that the Festival and Event Management Masterclass will be returning to Finland.  This 2-day workshop to inform and inspire those involved in managing, creating or supporting festivals and events will be taking pace in Turku on 2 & 3 April.  It has now been presented in 25 countries worldwide and several thousand people have attended the course. We have received some great feedback, you will find some examples further down and more on the event page. It features sessions on key tasks and challenges for those involved in festivals both large and small including Marketing, Press, Programming, Evaluation, Sponsorship and Fundraising.

We have run the course in Finland on a number of occasions. I found Paul inspiring, intriguing and to be a walking encyclopedia of events. I enjoyed every minute of the course and found that he was able to relate all examples to real life situations which made it really easy to follow and understand at industry level. Would highly recommend this course for anyone working in the event sector or just looking at a creative way to grow their event.  

The masterclass on festivals gave food for thought, presented in an inspiring and refreshing way.

The information gained from the masterclass has been tremendously helpful and has inspired me to broaden my mind and widen my parameters. The education I received was utilised immediately. I was sending off emails during class to my festival team!

The master class gave me many new ideas how to improve our festival. When the course was over Friday afternoon I wanted to immediately transfer my impressions to action.  

It is a good opportunity to meet and share experiences with other event managers

As a local government officer providing support for event organisers in our municipality, this course provided me with a variety of tips and tools that I can pass on as well as giving me the opportunity to look more critically at how we as a council support events and what we can do differently or better.  Coming from a small rural municipality, this sort of networking is usually hard to come by so it was a nice bonus on top of a great course!

It is an opportunity to think strategically about your events

The course was really helpful to put in place a general strategy for our Festival. It raised questions we never thought of, and we were able to set out clear guidelines to improve our relationship with our audience.
