Project in a nutshell: With the Ecosystems of Growth project, the Six Cities support the research and product development of growth-seeking companies through innovation services and new networks. The Ecosystems of Growth project will develop innovation ecosystems for companies, which will include representatives from businesses, universities, investors and customers. These ecosystems will focus on improving the conditions of companies, facilitating the national and international networking and creating new initiatives.
Duties of Turku Science Park Ltd.: Turku Science Park Ltd. focuses in particular on three issues: 1) How to increase the current customer flow in cooperation with other six cities and how this issue can be better monitored and measured in the future. 2) To develop and launch innovation clusters focusing on growth and internationalization based on regional strengths 3) To develop and pilot a controlled service path from the end of existing startup services to the growth and internationalization services developed in the project. In addition, the expertise and services of the Turku region and Southwest Finland will be opened nationally.
