• The theme of the Entrepreneur Days, which will be held at the Turku Fair Center, is “Step Forward”
• Over 2000 Finnish and foreign entrepreneurs are expected

The Entrepreneur Days is organized by the Federation of Finnish Enterprises, and over 2000 entrepreneurs are expected from all around Finland and other countries to network and for entertainment and inspiration. The event is being organized together with the Association of Southwest Finland Enterprises and in cooperation with local partners.

The event is an opportunity to network with entrepreneurs in different industries from all around Finland and other countries. There are inspirational speakers, and you can meet with potential business partners. Both individual entrepreneurs and city business delegations from all around world are all warmly welcome to take part in the event.

On Friday you will have an opportunity to get to know Turku better by taking one of the three organized tours: to Meyer shipyard, Turku Castle or a Movie Walk that takes you to the best locations of movies shot in the City of Turku. You can also visit the “Joki” Visitor and Innovation Center, where there is an interactive display of the industries and expertise of Southwest Finland. The actual program of the day will be in Finnish. It will include the general assembly of the Federation of Finnish Enterprises to select new representatives to the board of directors etc. and a seminar at the “Joki” Visitor and Innovation Center. In the evening you can take part in the welcoming party of the event, which also doubles as a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Association of Southwest Finland Enterprises.

On Saturday there will be three parallel sessions in the event program. One of them is the international program, which will be for Finnish and foreign companies and will be held in English. The program features company success stories on the theme of internationalization. You can also meet representatives from city authorities in various countries and ask them about doing business in their country. You can have one-to-one meetings with potential business partners and hear how you can join the network of subcontractors for the marine and automobile industries. Saturday will be crowned by the Gala evening, where entrepreneurship will be celebrated; there will be networking, good food, dancing and having fun, and Finland’s National Entrepreneur Awards for 2018 will also be presented.

“We want to offer participants at the event the best weekend of the year. The key benefits are for your own business, meetings with fellow entrepreneurs, entertainment and refreshment, and also gaining new information”, says Mikael Pentikäinen, CEO of the Federation of Finnish Enterprises.
