China is investing large sums in AI related technologies. After meetings with various Chinese delegates we have found possible that it would be of benefit for both countries to search for possible AI related research, product development and company cooperation.

Turku Science Park Ltd is arranging a visit to China in May 2019.

During the trip we will take part in International co-incubation General Annual Meeting hosted by Beijing B&R International Co-Incubation (ICI) to gain an insight into the Chinese AI scene. The main themes of this year’s meeting are medical robots and digital medical. An investor matchmaking is possible during the meeting. ICI is negotiating Beijing government to set up an international Fin-tech alliance with focus on blockchain, mobile payment, big data, website security etc. as well.

With the help of EU Chamber of Commerce in China Tianjin Chapter, we are negotiating a meeting with Tencent and Alibaba. The agenda is preliminary and will be modified based on the companies’ requests and needs.
